June 11th: Sunday’s MLS Accumulator – 8/1

With the MLS making its return this weekend, it will be America’s elite that steals most of the attention. So, for those of you looking to place a Sunday accumulator, we have found a trio of helpful MLS tips that can offer a great return for your flutter.

Sunday June 11th
BST 00:30 Orlando City vs Colorado Rapids

Making an immediate return to winning ways last week thanks to a rampant display on the road, Orlando have continued to impress many across the MLS since opening the 2023 campaign. Eventually breezing their way to a stellar 3-0 victory away at New York Red Bulls, the Lions are now unbeaten in each of their last five domestic appearances a run that stems back to May 9th. With their recent flurry highlighted by a 3-1 romp away at Inter Miami last month, Oscar Pareja’s men should be smelling the chance to make another MLS statement here. Notching seven strikes in their last three outings, Orlando should be relishing Colorado’s arrival to the Exploria Stadium in the early hours of Sunday. While the Rapids might have been last seen snatching a sluggish 0-0 stalemate at home against San Jose, the Rapids are enduring what has been a public nightmare over the past month. Signing off May with an action-packed 3-2 loss away at Columbus, Robin Fraser’s side are without a win from any of their last seven straight domestic appearances. Likewise, along with crashing out of the US Open Cup last month thanks to a 1-0 loss against Real Salt Lake, Sunday’s guests have also mustered just a single point from their previous six MLS showdowns. With Orlando losing just one of their last nine straight showdowns against the Western Conference strugglers, we are backing a home victory at the Exploria Stadium.

Tip: Orlando City win @ 19/20

01:30 Sporting Kansas City vs Austin FC

While Sporting Kansas might have opened June with last-gasp heartbreak away at Vancouver, Sunday’s hosts should find the mood in their camp at a continued high. Despite opening this weekend’s fixtures sat outside the play-off places, Peter Vermes’ side have suffered just a single defeat from their last six domestic appearances a run that stems back to May 10th. Making a major statement last month as they claimed a thumping 4-1 victory against Portland, the Wizards should also be excited by their continued success on home soil. Last seen at Children’s Mercy Park picking up a 2-1 win against Dallas, Vermes’s side have now won each of their last three domestic matchups in Kansas by an aggregate score of 9-2. Looking to skyrocket themselves into the places this weekend, it should also be highlighted that Sunday’s hosts have collected 12 points from their last five showdowns in front of their own supporters. Watching Austin make an immediate return to losing ways last time out as they suffered a 2-1 defeat at home against Real Salt Lake, Los Verdes have lost three of their last four domestic outings and they’re desperately seeking some stability. Likewise, picking up just one win from their previous six contests away from the Q2 Stadium, Josh Wolff’s side should be bracing themselves for another tough challenge here. Given the recent gulf in class between Sunday’s opponents, we are backing a home victory this weekend.

Tip: Sporting Kansas City win Over 1.5 goals @ 6/5

02:30 Real Salt Lake vs New York City

Punching their US Open Cup semi-final ticket last time out as they clinched an action-packed 3-2 win at home against LA Galaxy, Real Salt Lake are riding what has been a recent wave of momentum. Likewise, last seen on MLS duties picking up an eye-catching 2-1 victory away at Austin, Pablo Mastroeni’s men have their sights firmly set on securing another play-off spot this season. Losing just one of their last seven domestic appearances across all competitions a run that stems back to May 13th Sunday’s hosts have certainly found a real clinical edge in the final third. With their recent flurry underlined by a 3-2 win against Colorado last month, Mastroeni’s side should be confident of making another statement this weekend. While New York City might have claimed a much-needed boost when closing April, the MLS giants have come crashing back down to earth in some style. Without a win from any of their last eight straight domestic appearances, Nick Cushing already faces a huge amount of pressure on his shoulders. Including back-to-back 3-1 defeats against Cincinnati and Philadelphia over the past few weeks, NYCFC have also remarkably failed to claim a single win since the start of February. With RSL claiming a 3-1 romp the last time that they welcomed New York City to America First Field back in 2019, we ate expecting a similar outcome in the early hours of Sunday.

Tip: Real Salt Lake win @ 6/5
